Happy New Year
Happy New Year!! So we didn't get hardly any pictures from our very fun New Year's Eve party which is a bummer. Mike and I didn't even get a picture together---we need to work on that. But we did have a fabulous time with 30+ adults, 10 kids, and 2 babysitters. We are definitely making it a tradition to do again next year. Here's a picture of my Mom's group (including baby Elise just 2 weeks old)
Around 8:30pm the babysitters put on a movie for some of the kids. Here they are on the couch in their jammies---too cute! Jackson was convinced it was his party and every time someone would arrive he'd say "come upstairs to my party guys!"
And here's me at midnight---what a trooper I was!
We've had a great start to the new year including the loss of Jackson's poppies (a.k.a. pacis). The Poppy fairy came last Friday night and took the pacis and left him a present. As attached as he is to his poppies we were afraid this would take awhile to get used to. He hasn't even hardly noticed they are gone. Here he is the first night without poppy--cuddling up with who-who and his blanket.
Yesterday we spent a VERY lazy day inside and this is how Jackson chose to entertain us all.
