Introducing.....HONEY

Meet Honey...our new addition to the family.
We've had her for 1 week so she's now 9 weeks old and a wonderful new family member.

She and Bear are becoming good buddies.

Jackson got a 3D book about how to care for a puppy and he's been a great helper in training her and teaching her to go potty outside
Bear and Honey playing with a new toy
 A little sisterly tug-a-war

 kisses

And there is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby.  So precious!!

Honey is learning to come and has already mastered "sit"---what a smart little girl.  She's also going on day 3 of NO accidents in the house!!  Whoo hoo!

Water fun gone BAD

We've been having great weekend fun in the backyard (when we aren't traveling somewhere fun)
Even Bear's been getting in on the action
Anna loves to sit on Bear so what better way to blow bubbles??
 Fun on the slide
And we have been enjoying our fabulous blow up pool lately but the water games turned bad---check out Jackson's face as he prepares to squirt Anna

 A little too much fun
 uh oh...suit gone wrong
And what started out as innocent water games turned into a whole family-every-man-woman-child (or dog)-for themselves!  Mike and Jackson are soaked
 And so am I!!!
Anna just decided to forgo the bathing suit after awhile and thought naked was better---makes you go faster on the slide anyways
 2 kids in a tub
And what better way to finish off the evening with an OUTSIDE SHOWER!!!  Classy stuff here in Texas!

Fun in San Fran

Tim definitely knows how to show you a good time in San Francisco!!  We had so much fun last weekend touring the city and surrounding areas.
Here we are at the Japanese Tea Gardens

After tea and a snack we headed to the Aquarium and then on to China Town for some Dim Sum
 Wine bar before dinner..
Breakfast at the coffee shop below his apartment
NAPA.  One day we rented a car and spent the day in Napa touring wineries

It was pouring rain so this was my version of how to keep my hair dry (stolen from a friend of Tim's--she gave me the great scarf idea)

On our way back we checked out the bridge
And another day we rented another car to explore some area hiking.  I can remember the hike was called Cataract Falls and we ate lunch in Stinson Beach but can't quite remember where this hike was

This one's for you Dad!  (always making us get inside tree trunks for pictures)

And we couldn't resist a stop off in Muir Woods

Tim introduced me to very delicious oysters---YUM

slurp!
Thanks Tim for a fabulous weekend!!  I'm so lucky to have such a great brother to take time off and show me a great time.  I had so much fun hanging out with you!  Wish we could do it way more often!!!

Italian Wine Tasting

After we got back from Italy we just couldn't wait to share some good wine and food with friends so we had several couples over to share with us.  We brought back several cases of wine and some food and used that as part of our tasting

Then we made an "authentic" Italian dinner like we had had throughout our Italian tour

It was really a fantastic night
