Jackson is learning to swim and Anna is learning to sit!! It's been a big week.

Sibling conversations

Here is a conversation that took place yesterday in Jackson's room. Jackson likes to talk for Anna in a really high pitched voice so he was kind of having a conversation by himself, although he and Anna were laying down looking at each other.
J: Don't worry Anna I won't hit you.
A: Don't hit me Jackson
J: No, I won't. We don't hit in our family. Hitting hurts people
A: But what if I want to hit you
J: No, Anna we don't hit. You can't hit me. That's not nice.
A: Okay Jackson. I love you Jackson.
J: Oh, Anna. I love you too. You're pretty. (pause) EWWWW---Did Anna just poop? That sounded like a good one Anna

Anna's 5 months old!

It's hard to believe but Sunday Anna turns 5 month's old!! She's been almost all smiles this month. She's so much fun and she and Jackson really are good friends. Jackson takes very good care of her.

Fabulous Friends

We consider ourselves pretty lucky to have such great friends as the Muellers!! We all met in Atlanta (before kids) and have stayed friends during our move to Texas, and their move to Santa Fe and now Missouri. We all have such a great time together and just laugh and laugh. They came with their two kids over the July 4th holiday weekend and we had the best time! We were so so sad when they had to go home.
