Finally---Family pictures!

We had our first family photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. Here we are!! We have about a 100 shots but these were some of our favorites:

Ta Da!

Jackson is 100% potty trained (minus nights) as of about 3 weeks ago! We are so proud of him. He's really proud of himself and thinks it's pretty cool not to be wearing diapers anymore. We've had #1 down since before school started but #2 has been a longer process (mainly because it meant more work for us). One day I just told him there would be no more diapers at nap time and that solved it---he had to go in the potty. He did and we've been going smoothly this whole time. Go Jackson!! It's really nice only buying one set of diapers now for Anna. Plus it's just too cute to see him sitting on the potty and wearing his big boy under ware

This morning Jackson ran in a local kids 1K supporting MS. He did great! He is a very fast runner and ran the whole way yelling "I'm gonna win this race" Jackson and his friend Finn before the race

And sadly this isn't all he owns. We couldn't find a couple of McQueen's, the other Mater, the other Doc and a few more (think they are somewhere between his sheets). And of course there are still tons more he's hoping to acquire soon! We better tell Santa to get busy

Anna 8 months old!

We are a little late with this blog posting seeing as how she's already 8.5 months old but still better late than never. We are having so much fun with Anna. She has such a smiley, sweet, fun personality. She is loving being able to explore things now vertically. She's on the verge of crawling (has been for about 2 weeks). She'll take a couple of steps and then flatten out, get back up on her knees and go a few more. Kind of like an inch worm actually. Here she is in her new "big girl" carseat

And of course Bear is a favorite toy and good source of entertainment.

Anna is getting very into her books lately, proving to be just like her big brother. She will actually let you read the book BEFORE she tries to eat it now.

We've been having such great weather lately so we took Jackson down to the lake to fish and Anna was a good sport

This outfit is kind of silly but so so cute! Someone gave us this precious outfit and it was cold one morning so I just had to put her in it. I think we got more "oohs and ahhs" at Target than ever before with this one! Jackson agreed because he couldn't stop hugging her

She's one lucky girl to have such a great big brother!
