Despite being sick while Laura's parents were in town last weekend we had a great time during their visit. Jackson and I were suffering from allergies and poor Mike is still recovering from
bronchitis.
We did manage to fit in a trip to the Pumpkin Express

Jackson taught Dow how to drive a car with two
steering wheels (facing different directions)

And of course you gotta hug pumpkins!

And pose with them.....

Because Jackson enjoyed building a firetruck with Mike so much we thought we'd try the Lowe's building experience again. This time Jackson made a skeleton! He definitely looks quite experienced don't you think?
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (says the skeleton)

And lucky us, the Flower Mound Fire Department had an open house so Jackson got to sit in a real firetruck! What a day

And turn all the valves

And certainly no Mimi and Dow visit would be complete without making Dow's
homemade pizza (even the dough is from scratch)! Jackson hasn't ever participated before and it's obvious he was quite impressed. First you gotta roll out the dough

Second you put on the
homemade sauce

Next you put on lots of good cheese (hand picked by Dow---there are 4 kinds by the way)!

And then you bake it to perfection! Here's Jackson's personal Dow pie

This is AFTER Jackson has finished eating. Definitely a hit!!
CHEESEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
