JET SETTERS

Anna and I couldn't resist making a quick trip back to Oak Ridge over the weekend to be a part of Emily's baby shower.  It was a very fast 48 hours but we made the most of our time.  Jackson and Mike stayed in Texas for a fun-filled boys weekend.
Here's Anna on the plane enjoying a quick snack
Me, Anna, Emily and don't forget Baby Sweetness
Auntie Em teaching Anna to play the piano
Anna all dressed up and ready for bed (in Jackson's old pj's)
 Dow and Anna before bed
Emily's shower.  Check out all the gifts!!
Emily enjoying some yummy food before the opening begins
 New diaper bag!!
 presents!!
All Emily's friends wanted a feel of baby sweetness
Mom, Emily, and me in front of all her gifts
 Anna out of the bath
Taking a walk through the woods to the lake with all the dogs (and Mimi and Dow of course)
And we finally got to meet the newest member of the Mowrer family---Burgundy (notice the theme...first there was Chardonnay then Champagne and now Burgundy)!  What a sweetheart!!

BFFs

Jackson had his first sleepover last night!  It couldn't have been more fun for both boys.  Jackson's best friend Tate came over for about 24 hours while his parents are out of town.
First on the agenda was playing super heros!
 Next it was pizza
Then a quick hop in the tub to make capsules turn into dinosaurs
Then ghost cookies and CARS (the movie)
They each picked out a book to read about 8:15 and after saying 2 "I love yous" back and forth across the hallway they were both asleep before 8:30pm!
This morning we had a fun filled day of watching a cartoon, going to Paradise Pond (great indoor play place), and lunch at Chick-fil-a
Then before we took a quick rest it was time for some serious bike riding

All kids are resting peacefully before an afternoon sure to be filled with lots of playroom fun.  I would have to say the first sleepover was definitely a success and we are looking forward to the next time.  Both Jackson and Tate play so well together and are so sweet that it was a real joy to have him stay with us!! (and I'm not just saying that because his parents will be reading this)

New York City---take 3

Totally forgot I still had more NYC pictures.  Guess that tells you how many we took!
Here we are outside Serendipity.  We didn't get a table because we didn't feel like waiting 2 hours for frozen hot chocolate although I'm sure it would have been delicious
Last night in NYC.  Dinner at Blue Fin (or Blue Fish I can't remember now) before going to see The Lion King
 The Lion King
Jackson is going to be Spider Man for Halloween and is obsessed with Super Hero's so I had to take this shot for him to see!  He thought it was pretty cool
 Saying goodbye to Baby Sweetness
 Last look at Times Square
And a quick tea in Bryant Park before taking a cab back to the airport
We had such a great trip and I am really looking forward to the next MMF Girl's Trip (Mowrer, Manes, Flatau)

Togetherness

Jackson and Anna have become quite inseparable lately.  Anna loves to mimic whatever Jackson is doing and Jackson LOVES the company.

Here they are eating lunch (notice the chairs are touching)
Fun at the pumpkin patch (although Anna seems to be crying in almost every picture we aren't sure why because she had a great time)

 Going through the maze together
 posing for pictures
 more crying....
Eating yogurt (who doesn't need a yogurt break after pumpkin patch fun)
YUM YUM (notice the crying is gone)
Even shopping at Lowes they like to ride together in the cart
Doing some coloring (not only are they same side sitters but again the chairs are touching)
Jackson couldn't resist throwing some kisses Anna's way
 another lunch shot
